CUSTOMISATION & PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT

THE PROCESS EXPLAINED

  1. Enquiry received from the customer

  2. Customer requirements are analysed and key product characteristics identified

  3. These characteristics include:

  • Yarn type
  • Yarn count
  • Number of yarn ends
  • Weave pattern
  • Number of picks
  • Break strength

  • Elongation

  • Mass

  • Width and thickness

  • See more below

4. A comparison to the existing range of products is completed
5. If the product is available, the request is allocated to a sales enquiry
6. If not currently available, the enquiry enters the product development process
7. A unique identifier is allocated to the product development enquiry for tracking and control purposes
8. Costing of the required product is completed to ensure the pricing requirements are acceptable to customer

  • If not, the product development process ends

  • If accepted, the product development order is issued to the development team
